The individual businesses within Emerson Salon are doing everything according to guidelines & protocol outlines for medium to high risk personal services
where 6ft of social distancing is not possible.
If you would like to understand the detailed directives from WA state government agencies- you can read them HERE.
When you visit the salon it may feel a little different with informative signs and ways to create social distancing. Extra care will be given to clean & disinfect furniture, bathrooms and tools between client appointments.
..................... But do not fret! D'Arcy will support you and make sure this is STILL an enjoyable experience for everyone .

SERVICE CLIENT “NEED TO KNOW” :
APPOINTMENT ONLY>> Walk-ins for Services will not be accepted.
You will be sent a health questionnaire in your confirmation and reminders. You must self-certify your health before receiving a service. Check out the Self-Certify Form HERE
There will be a minimum of 15 minutes between appointments to achieve cleaning & disinfecting (which includes appropriate disinfectant contact time.)
You are required to wear a mask before entering. Your service provider can decline the service if you do not. Emerson Salon will have clean, sanitized masks on hand if you do not provide your own.
“ONE AT A TIME”: You have to wait to be notified to enter by your service provider. You also may not bring additional guests unless you are a caregiver or the parent or guardian of a minor under 16yrs of age. (must stay 6ft from provider or wait outside the salon)
Once You Enter Emerson Salon - you will have your temperature taken and immediately go to wash your hands for 20-30 seconds in the restroom.
Avoid bringing extra items like coats, etc. Any extra items will be bagged to minimize extra sanitation measures.
A disinfecting wipe can be provided for your cell phone.
At the shampoo bowl your face MUST be covered with a towel and D'Arcy will be wearing additional PPE/faceshield.
Beverage service is removed at this time.
Please avoid Cash bills whenever possible. We highly recommend contact-less transactions via Apple Pay, Google Pay or via Square Card on File. If you must bring cash--- bring exact amount + earned gratuity in a sealed, plastic bag.
Please know that D'Arcy Hair Design takes your health
and safety very seriously.
**Reminder: Asymptomatic individuals can carry the virus and spread contagion so we must behave as if EVERYONE is carrying Covid 19.

As one of the co-owners of Emerson Salon-- please know that we appreciate your understanding, patience and teamwork in accomplishing this endeavor. We will implement and enforce these guidelines so we may be ready for inspection from Dept of Health, Dept of Licensing, Dept of Cosmetology and state Labor and Industry agencies.
